Strategies for Kids/Teens

What We Offer

Parent Training

Parent training is a team effort between families and clinicians to create meaningful, lasting change. By learning how to apply ABA strategies at home, parents can better support their child’s unique strengths and needs.

ABA Sessions

During ABA sessions, therapists use play, structured activities, and positive reinforcement to help children develop new skills and reduce challenging behaviors. Every goal is personalized to support your child’s unique strengths and areas for growth.

Education

Our mission extends beyond direct services. Through professional development for teachers and community education, we empower educators, parents, and peers to embrace neurodiversity, recognize strengths, reduce stigma, and celebrate differences.

Consultation

Every journey starts with understanding how your child’s ADHD shows up in daily life. During the initial consultation, we take time to learn about your goals, your child’s strengths, and the challenges your family experiences with routines, emotions, organization, or follow-through. We’ll walk you through what ADHD-focused ABA looks like, answer all your questions, and discuss which strategies or services would best support your child.

This meeting allows us to create a personalized plan that fits your child’s learning style and your family’s routines. By the end of the consultation, you’ll have a clear understanding of the next steps and how we can work together to help your child thrive.

ABA Sessions

Once your child’s plan is created, we begin one-on-one ABA sessions designed specifically for the needs of the ADHD brain. Each session focuses on practical, everyday skills such as organization, routine-building, task initiation, emotional regulation, flexible thinking, and independent follow-through. Our approach uses play-based learning, positive reinforcement, and engaging activities to keep sessions motivating and enjoyable.

Because attention, energy, and motivation can shift quickly, sessions are dynamic and responsive. We adjust pacing, incorporate movement, and use strategies that support focus without pressure. Progress is tracked continuously, and we celebrate small wins while adjusting goals in real time—ensuring each step feels achievable, meaningful, and connected to your child’s daily life.

Parent Training

Parent training gives you practical, ADHD-focused tools to support your child’s progress at home. We help you understand how your child’s brain approaches routines, emotions, and tasks so you can respond with strategies that reduce frustration and build independence. Together, we focus on skills like creating predictable routines, supporting task initiation, managing overwhelm, and increasing follow-through.

These sessions are collaborative and responsive to your family’s needs. We troubleshoot challenges, adjust strategies in real time, and show you how to use your child’s strengths to motivate success. The goal is to help you feel confident and supported so your child’s growth continues far beyond their one-on-one sessions.
