Busy Bees Behavioral Consulting provides individualized ABA services for children with autism in Maryland.

Owned and operated by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Busy Bees offers compassionate, one-on-one support designed to build meaningful skills in communication, independence, emotional regulation, daily routines, and self-advocacy across the home and community.

Our approach is personalized, neurodiversity-affirming, and centered on helping each child make progress that matters in everyday life.

Our Approach

At Busy Bees Behavioral Consulting, our approach is practical, personalized, and designed around the unique strengths, needs, and learning style of each child with autism. Our services are closely guided by a BCBA, allowing treatment to be adjusted as your child grows and ensuring strategies remain meaningful, effective, and individualized.

We prioritize functional skill building in areas such as communication, emotional regulation, daily routines, social skills, problem solving, self-advocacy, and independence. Using evidence-based ABA strategies, we focus on skills that can be practiced naturally across your child’s home, community, and everyday routines.

We take a strength-based, neurodiversity-affirming approach that respects each child as an individual. Through collaboration with families, clear communication, and ongoing parent support, we work to create consistency across environments and help children build skills that support greater confidence, independence, and long-term success.

What Makes Us Different?

Busy Bees was founded by a BCBA who spent years working within larger ABA organizations and saw firsthand both the impact ABA can have—and the ways care can lose its personal touch when growth, productivity, and volume become the priority.

She created Busy Bees because she wanted to do things differently.

The goal was to build a practice where quality comes before quantity, families feel heard, clinicians are supported, and each child receives thoughtful, individualized care. Rather than following a one-size-fits-all model, Busy Bees focuses on meaningful goals that improve everyday life while respecting each child’s strengths, communication style, interests, and individuality.

Our approach is compassionate, neurodiversity-affirming, and rooted in connection. We believe ABA should help children build communication, independence, emotional regulation, self-advocacy, and other functional skills without losing sight of who they are.
